NORA CISMONDI

Dopo aver ricevuto il primo premio come oboista e per la musica da camera al Conservatorio di Parigi nelle classi di JL Capezzali, Jacques Tys e David Walter, Nora Cismondi studia con Maurice Bourgue.

Vincitrice di numerosi concorsi internazionali come Prague Spring (2001), Toulon (2002), ARD München (2003), Tokyo Sony Music Foundation (2006), ha suonato come solista in molti teatri europei (Camerata Basel, Radio Symphony Orchestra di Munich, Chamber Orchestra di Mantova, Orchestra da camera di Alvernia). 
Molto apprezzata dai suoi colleghi, è stata eletta “Revelation classica Adami al Midem” nel 2005 a Cannes e, dopo sette stagioni con l’Orchestra dell’Opéra di Parigi, Nora Cismondi nel 2006 ha conquistato il ruolo di Principal Oboe nell’Orchestre National de France.
Nora Cismondi ha conseguito il diploma di insegnante dal 2006 e ha condiviso la sua esperienza in varie master class in Europa e in Asia.
E’ docente della classe di oboe al Conservatorio di Parigi à Rayonnement Régional dal settembre 2012 e insegna presso la Guildhall School of Music di Londra come professore ospite dal 2011.

After receiving the first prize in oboe and chamber music at the Paris Conservatory in the classes of JL Capezzali, Jacques Tys and David Walter, Nora Cismondi studies with Maurice Bourgue.
Winner of international competitions such as the Prague Spring (2001), Toulon (2002), ARD München (2003), Tokyo SonyMusic Foundation (2006), she performed as soloist in many European theaters (Camerata Basel, Radio Symphony Orchestra of Munich, Chamber Orchestra of Mantova, Chamber Orchestra of Auvergne).
Recognized by her peers, she was appointed Revelation classic Adami at the 2005 Midem in Cannes, and, after seven seasons with the orchestra of the Paris Opera, Nora Cismondi joined the Orchestre National de France in 2006 as Principal Oboe.
She is also a regular guest of famous orchestras like London Symphony Orchestra, Santa Cecilia Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Mahler Chamber Orchestra as well as the Budapest Festival Orchestra.
Nora Cismondi helds her teaching certificate since 2006 and shared her experience in various master classes throughout Europe and Asia; she will be the lecturer of the oboe class at Paris Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional from September 2012 on and already teaches at the London Guildhall School of Music as a guest professor since 2011.
