RATIMIR MARTINOVIC

La combinazione ideale di intelletto, tecnica e passione, raffinatezza del tatto, tecnica perfetta, concentrazione e controllo, potenziale dinamico eccezionale, idee originali e interpretazioni non convenzionali« danno a Ratimir Martinović, secondo le parole della critica, una delle posizioni di rilievo tra i pianisti della sua generazione.

Nato a Kotor (Montenegro), si è diplomato nel 1999 nella classe di Kemal Gekić all’Academy of Arts di Novi Sad, suonando in una notte le “Variazioni Goldberg” di Bach, la “Hammerklavier Sonata” di Beethoven, le Quattro Ballades di Chopin e la “Toccata” di Prokofiev, con grande consenso dalla critica. Ha conseguito il master, suonando un intero programma di Bach.

Attualmente, Martinović lavora come professore associato presso l’Accademia delle arti, il più giovane professore di pianoforte ed è stato nominato capo del dipartimento musicale.

Si è perfezionato con artisti del calibro di Ivo Pogorelich, Karl-Heinz Kammerling, Hiroko Nakamura, Jacques Rouvier, Arie Vardi, Sergio Perticaroli e molti altri.

Dal suo dodicesimo anno di età ha suonato in oltre seicento recital, concerti di musica da camera e con orchestra in quasi tutti i paesi europei, Stati Uniti, Messico, Canada, Argentina, Cina, Giappone e Tailandia. Ha suonato a New York (Stern Auditorium alla Carnegie Hall), a Roma (Auditorium Parco della Musica), a Londra (St. John Smith Square, St. James Piccadilly), Shanghai (Oriental Art Center), Praga (Rudolfinum, Sala Smetana) , Lussemburgo (Auditorium di Banque de Luxembourg), Taipei (sala del teatro nazionale), Toronto (Glenn Gould Studio), Parigi (sala UNESCO), Zagabria (sala Lisinski), Belgrado (centro Sava, sala Kolarac), nonché in Montreal, Mosca, Lisbona, Praga, Buenos Aires, Barcellona, ​​Salisburgo, Vancouver, Kansas City, Heidelberg, Bari, St. Petersbourg, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Pechino, Helsinki, Firenze, Tubinga, Montpellier, Granada, Vicenza e altrove.

Martinović ha registrato due CD con le opere di Bach / Tausing, Mozart, Chopin, Brahms, Prokofiev e Bach »Goldberg variations«.

È il vincitore di numerosi premi e tributi nazionali e internazionali.

Dopo i primi successi nelle competizioni pianistiche in tenera età, Ratimir Martinović si ritirò dalla scena della competizione, concentrando la sua attività nei concerti e nell’insegnamento.

Martinović è il fondatore e membro di KotorArt Trio, insieme al violinista Roman Simovic e al clarinettista Aleksandar Tasic.

È uno dei fondatori del Festival internazionale Kotor Art e direttore del suo programma musicale chiamato Don Branko’s Music Days.

After initial successes in piano competitions at very early age, Ratimir Martinović withdrew from the competition scene, devoting his time to playing concerts and teaching.

Martinović is the founder and member of KotorArt Trio, together with violinist Roman Simovic and clarinetist Aleksandar Tasic.

He is one of the founders of International Festival Kotor Art and Director of its music program called Don Branko’s Music Days.
