INTERNATIONAL MASTER CLASS
In 2009 Simone Pittau founded the International Master Class (IMC). Held in Santu Lussurgiu in Sardinia, a town in the Province of the Oristano mountains, which is characterized by its precious medieval history.
The teachers come from the London Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Symphony, the Orchestre des Bayerischen Rundfunks of Monaco, the Orchestre des Champs Elysees in Paris and the most prestigious European schools of music, such as the Guildhall School of Music and the Royal Academy of Music London, the Hochschule fur Musik H. Eisler Berlin, the Instituto Internacional de Música de Cámara de Madrid, the Vienna Konservatorium Privat Universitat and the Haute Ecole de Musique in Lausanne.
The IMC is aimed at young talents, from three years of age upwards, from all around the world. Created to offer a unique educational guidance to students, accompanying them until the onset of their profession. The workshops, which last two weeks, are regularly frequented by children from all over the world: Italy, England, Austria, Greece, Belgium, Romania, Netherlands, Montenegro, Turkey, Bulgaria, France, Spain, Scotland, Israel, Estonia, Ukraine, Russia, Norway, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Australia, China, Japan, USA. Featuring individual lessons, from workshops, classes chamber music concerts and concerts with the Chamber Orchestra of Sardinia, the IMC take place to guarantee students a unique educational experience with the best teachers on the international scene .

-Please attach a copy of your passport/identity card;
-The subscription is meant for the entire course, so any subscription for a lesser period will not be accepted;

INFO
-Students will partecipate ain Individual Lessons, Chamber Music and Orchestra;
-Students have to send Piano parts for the accompanist, in pdf format, to the e-mail address imc@orchestradacameradellasardegna.it;
-Classes will be held at the Istituto Comprensivo in Santu Lussurgiu. Classrooms are available for practice;
-Violin students can have lessons with both teachers;
-Double Basses and Pianos available for practice;
-Payment of the course and accommodation can be made at the end of the IMC;
-Please bring black clothing for the concerts;
-The staff will release, on demand and after the approval of the teacher, a certificate of proficiency to the students who attend the courses regularly;

-The organization will provide two Coaches for free, one late in the morning and one late in the evening, from Cagliari Airport to Santu Lussurgiu, on 20th August;
-Also the organization will provide two Coaches for free, on 31st August, from Santu Lussurgiu to Cagliari Airport, one early in the morning and one early in the afternoon. Departure from Santu Lussurgiu at Piazza Bartolomeo Meloni;
